Tokusou Shibaki is the master of Seito Academy. He is also Unchou Kan-u's trainer.

Appearance

Tokusou is a very short elderly dark skinned man. He is bald and is usually seen wearing black sunglasses with dark orange lens. His usual attire consists of old Japanese martial arts training, as well as sandals.

Personality

Tokusou is a very wise man as he gives knowledge and wisdom to many fighters, even to an experienced and well trained fighter like Kan-u. He is also very level headed as he has never actually lost his composure, even during the most critical of times.

Story (Anime)

Ikkitousen: Dragon Destiny

Tokusou is first seen with Unchou Kan-u where he asks her why she was so anxious, as he tells her that she will not have to wait long for a fight because they can not hide in the mountains for long. He then retells the story of the original Gentoku, a praised and fearless general, and telling Kan-u that Gentoku Ryuubi has that inside of her as well.

Tokusou is there when Shimei Ryomou attacks Seito, so she can test the newly acquired Dragon Jade. He meets her while leaving and thanks her for awakening her dragon, even though she did not have the intentions of doing so.

Tokusou then appears beside Kan-u where, while staring at the dragonified Gentoku, tells her about the Dragon Jade, stating that it was the only thing that could save Gentoku from her dreaded fate of being devoured by her dragon.

Tokusou then talks with Kan-u telling her that they are in need of a fighter, the aptly named crouching dragon, aka Koumei Shokatsuryou. After Kan-u retrieves Koumei and Gentoku takes her to a festival while Kan-u watches, she is then joined by her master who warns her of the incoming attack by Kyosho Academy.

Tokusou then participates in the meeting of Seito, where they discuss the situation of Kan-u being taken prisoner by Kyosho. He the watches as Gentoku flourishes as a leader, wanting to put the needs of Seito over her own selfish desire of Kan-u. He also participates in the meeting between Seito and Nanyo, where Nanyo and Seito come together in an alliance to take down their true enemy: Kyosho.

Trivia

• In Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Sima Hui (Shibaki's predecessor) recommended Zhuge Liang and Pang Tong to Liu Bei.
