Ekitoku Chouhi is Gentoku Ryuubi's best friend and an avid snack lover. Although she is only a C-rank fighter, history states that she will one day become so powerful that legends will describe her as matching ten thousand men (just like Zhang Fei himself), which makes her well known around town. Her natural fighting potential is said to be equal to or even greater than Unchou Kan-u's, but, like Koukin Shuuyu, her self-deprecating behavior keeps her from making progress and ranking up.

Soul History

Zhang Fei is well known for staying behind to protect a bridge with only twenty horsemen, holding off Cao Cao's army while Liu Bei escapes.

Ekitoku is a very tomboyish-looking girl with short, slightly rugged dark brown hair. She is usually seen wearing either her training kimono or her Seito Academy uniform.

Personality

Ekitoku has a very brash and aggressive personality, preferring to attack first and think later. She can be especially forceful with her friend Gentoku, often growing annoyed with Gentoku's attempts to avoid training and resorting to physical pressure to make her practice. However, she also has a sensitive and matronly side, as revealed by the heart revealing stone.

Ikkitousen: Dragon Destiny

Ekitoku is first seen at the swimming pool with Kan-u, reporting that Kyoshou Gakuin is taking over schools left and right and that Nanyo Academy's own Shimei Ryomou has gone missing.

Ekitoku is next seen training Gentoku, who once again manages to slip away, only to be caught by Kan-u. Kan-u tells Ekitoku that Yoshu Academy has also been conquered by Kyosho, which worries Ekitoku, who fears that Gentoku will be next on Sousou's list of targets.

Seito is then attacked by new recruits from Yoshu, and Ekitoku engages the fighters coming through the front entrance, defeating them but exhausting herself in the process. She then faces Shimei Ryomou, who quickly dispatches her and moves to confront Gentoku and Kan-u. Ekitoku grabs Ryomou's ankle and tells Kan-u to run, recalling that Ryomou was the one who killed her in the Three Kingdoms era. Ryomou breaks free, knocking Ekitoku out. Ekitoku later wakes up in a hospital and remembers that Gentoku transformed after Ryomou attacked her.

Ekitoku then accompanies Gentoku to Mount Togenin, watching over her to make sure she does not hurt herself. There she is confronted by Kansho Kochu, one of the Five Tiger Generals. Ekitoku and Kansho fight, and although she battles valiantly, she is ultimately overpowered and defeated. She is later seen sleeping at the mountain temple until she regains her strength. Ekitoku then leaves with her friends Gentoku and Kan-u, as well as Kansho and their original target, Koumei Shokatsuryou, the supposed Crouching Dragon.

Ekitoku later relaxes with Kansho, Gentoku, and Koumei, enjoying their time together until they are interrupted by Kyosho fighters led by Genjou Kakouton. Ekitoku and Kansho team up and stay close to Gentoku and Koumei, fighting off Kyosho's attackers until the Kyoshou Academy fighters withdraw after completing their objective of capturing Kan-u.

Ekitoku participates in the meeting between Seito and Nanyo where they discuss their situation and decide to team up to defeat Kyoshou once and for all at the Battle of Red Cliffs.

Ekitoku and the other six fighters from Nanyo and Seito hold a picnic until the six fighters of Kyoshou arrive. Both sides then engage in a series of one-on-one matches, with Ekitoku facing Chuukou Kyocho. Ekitoku is overpowered and loses, but Chuukou is still defeated by Kan-u when she arrives late to the battle. Ekitoku manages to stand and throw Kan-u toward the top of the tower, allowing her to confront and defeat a newly powered-up Chuutatsu Shibai in a single blow. Ekitoku then watches as Gentoku and Hakufu fight and defeat Sousou. She is last seen enjoying a meal with Kansho and accidentally tossing a hot piece of food onto the top of his head.

• Ekitoku Chouhi, Kan'u Unchou, Chou'un Shiryuu, Bachou Mouki, and Kouchuu Kanshou are the "Five Tiger Generals" of Ryuubi Gentoku.
• She shares the same English voice actress as Nanael from Queen's Blade.
