Chuukou Kyochou was tormented by the boys at her previous school until she was saved by Moutoku Sousou, who gave her newfound hope. She then transferred to Kyosho Academy with the single goal of protecting Sousou.

Appearance

Chuukou is a very tall woman with shoulder-length green hair. She is usually seen wearing gym clothes along with knee and elbow pads.

Personality

Chuukou appears to show little emotion, but she clearly cares for others, as seen on multiple occasions when she looks after Sousou and her fellow Kyosho members.

Story (Anime)

Ikkitousen: Dragon Destiny

Chuukou is first seen being ordered by Chuutatsu Shibai to take care of Sousou, who needs someone more than ever following the disappearance of his best friend, Genjou Kakouton.

Chuukou is later seen with a chained Sousou. When he asks why she is not afraid to be down there with "a monster" like him, she simply approaches, places her hands on his face, and gives him chi, comforting and calming him.

Chuukou is next seen traveling with the other fighters of Kyosho to the site of the Battle of Red Cliffs. Upon arrival, they are confronted by Koumei Shokatsuryou and Gentoku Ryuubi. The battle begins after Koumei taunts Shibai over who will possess the Dragon Jade, an artifact that can control the dragon inside a fighter.

Chuukou fights against Ekitoku Chouhi and easily defeats her with her superior strength. She ultimately chokes Ekitoku unconscious while Ekitoku is distracted by Bunken Gakushin's attack on Gentoku.

Chuukou then faces Unchou Kan-u in a match that will decide who claims the Dragon Jade. The two trade blows, but Kan-u, fueled by anger over Chuukou choking Ekitoku, ultimately overpowers her and wins the fight, knocking Chuukou out.

Chuukou is last seen playing volleyball with her team, performing extremely well thanks to her long arms and legs and her height.

Ikkitousen: Xtreme Xecutor

Chuukou fights Bachou Mouki when Mouki attempts to confront Sousou. When the tournament on Nanban Island is announced, Chuukou is chosen as one of Kyosho's two representatives alongside Shikou Soujin. When Nanban warriors ambush the would-be contestants on a boat, Chuukou and Mouki manage to evade capture and swim to Nanban Island, where the former opponents gradually make peace as Chuukou describes Sousou to Mouki from her own perspective. Later, Chuukou and Mouki meet with Hakufu during an attempt to rescue the imprisoned fighters. Chuukou helps fend off numerous Nanban warriors during the final battle and is later seen with Sousou and her comrades when they recover Teni.

Trivia

For season two, she shares the same English voice actress as both Alleyne and Aldra from Queen's Blade.
